Spanish Schools in Arica: Arica Spanish Classes
A dusty city near the border of Peru. The sun shines nearly year round and the people are friendly. In fact it rains only about once every 30 years. I stayed in this hostel, run by a crazy guy named Roberto. It was fun.
Nightlife: Arica has lots of clubs and bars, but many are hard to find and are on the beach, not downtown.
Crossing into Peru: It’s easiest to take a collectivo from the bus station or a taxi. The drivers are great at handling the border formalities and will get you through quickly. A bus can take awhile at the border.
